Online maps- and software over-the-air (OTA) updates
1. Access the Kia Connect Store and click on [Online maps- and SW OTA updates].
2. If your vehicle has a supported software version, you will be directly forwarded to the payment step. In case the vehicle doesn't meet the minimum software requirements, a pop-up will show up and inform you about the need to perform a manual update first (via the Kia Navigation Update Portal or the dealership), before enjoying the OTA services with the next update.
3. Complete the purchase step in the Kia Connect Store.
4. Once the update is released, you will need to accept the installation terms in your vehicle.
5. Download and installation will happen automatically in the background.
※ The download of new map data will happen automatically without needing to accept the installation terms.
